KOSHER GREEN EGGS AND HAM
The National Education Association is celebrating "Read Across America" by
encouraging adults to read to children. Of course, "Green Eggs and Ham" is
one of the most popular Dr. Seuss books. [Note from Shoshi - "Green Eggs and Ham" was the book my parents used to teach me to read at the age of five!]
And there's the dilemma. How can Jewish kids celebrate with green Eggs and
HAM?
So, in honor of (and with apologies to the estate of Dr. Seuss) [...]40_1Nov200108:38:47-0500ssloman@hotmail.com

Sloman19_ssloman@hotmail.com30_Thu, 1 Nov 2001 12:38:08 -0500559_iso-8859-1 One thing you could get started on, as you continue to search for good history textbooks, is using primary sources. Also, there are some history books available [...]40_1Nov200112:38:08-0500ssloman@hotmail.com

Since homeschooling families usually hang together, it might be best to have
it for both sexes, and all ages, but separate out activities for boys from
those for girls past a certain age. If both parents could come, the
same-sex parent could accompany the kids to their activities. Since young
children often do not want to separate from their parents, it might be good
to have mixed activities for them [...]40_5Nov200111:38:09-0500ssloman@hotmail.com

would be interested in attending an observant homeschooling convention
(understanding up front what the expectations would be). [...]41_12Nov200106:50:32-0500ssloman@hotmail.com
