Hey Meirman,

Nice to hear from you again.

To just plain learn the alphabet, there is a great floor puzzle that is a train, Each car is a separate letter. An adult helps the child sing the alphabet song and then find the letter. Since each letter is isolated, and not cut up between two pieces, it's a very clear focus and easier to make the association. The child learns through repetition. We got it at a toy store (Kids and Kadoodle which was absorbed [...] 516 238 56_Re: Parents only, not children invited to b'nai mitzvah?13_SCJP Approval25_scjp-approved@shamash.org31_Mon, 22 Aug 2005 09:51:49 -0400691_- Subject: Re: Parents only, not children invited to b'nai mitzvah? Hello, My wife and I are Jewish and we are expecting a baby girl in a few months. We want give her a name of Hebrew origin that starts with a "Y", after my grandmother. One name that has come up is Yasmine. Most web sites say Yasmine is of Persian origin, but other web sites state that Yasmine is a very popular name in Israel and has a Hebrew origin. We want to be true to our heritage. Can anyone shed some light on [...] 804 46 46_Re: Naming baby the same as a living relative?13_SCJP Approval25_scjp-approved@shamash.org31_Mon, 22 Aug 2005 09:52:59 -0400448_- Subject: Re: Naming baby the same as a living relative? The rule doesn't apply to cousins, aunt, uncles, nephews etc. [...] 851 62 56_Re: Parents only, not children invited to b'nai mitzvah?13_SCJP Approval25_scjp-approved@shamash.org31_Wed, 24 Aug 2005 11:28:15 -0400614_- Subject: Re: Parents only, not children invited to b'nai mitzvah?
