Tonight begins the Jewish New Year -- 5766 -- that celebrates the creation
of man. (The creation of the world comes 5 days earlier on the 25th of Elul.)
The culmination of the year -- 5999 (233 years hence) -- the end of the sixth
millennium, will signal our total victory in the conquest of our ignorance of
