Actually, no. Collective consciousness is much further
away and will come much later. Before we can talk
about any kind of consciousness at all, let alone the
collective variety, we'll have to consider awakening.
Awakening from our collective sleep will allow us to
share the same perceptions. One thousand years of

Dear BOLIVAR PAEZ,

You will notice that there is a scale here running from
the concrete to the abstract or relational. One's "genius"
for love can go only so far if one cannot offer concrete,
practical help. Part of maturing is to realize that love is
not enough. The genius of love is embedded in the "Shma"
prayer and evokes the application of all of our hidden

Artificial scarcity, a by-product of neurotic illusion of the
"haves" that economic advantage makes them invulnerable,
is nothing compared to the real thing. If all humans had
everything that our wealthiest have, we would all still be
legitimate objects of pity. Don't forget, when the wealthy
contract an incurable disease, their material advantage is
rendered meaningless. [...]42_18Jul200121:52:23+0300devor@pob.huji.ac.il 983 29 70_Re: Alien Smuggling/renewed interest in the importance of Project Mind9_CB Willis22_cbwillis@lightlink.com29_Wed, 18 Jul 2001 20:32:52 EDT490_us-ascii > Artificial scarcity

I see artificial scarcity as an unnecessary suffering.

There's enough suffering in human life (loss of loved ones, illness,
working through certain existential anxieties or spiritual crises) that is
more or less unavoidable, we could at the very least be mindful to obviate
the unnecessary suffering.

I daresay some 90-99% of the suffering in most people's lives is
unnecessary suffering, only 1-10% necessary suffering. [...]42_18Jul200120:32:52EDTcbwillis@lightlink.com 1013 46 70_Re: Alien Smuggling/renewed interest in the importance of Project Mind16_devor@huji.ac.il20_devor@pob.huji.ac.il31_Fri, 20 Jul 2001 16:14:24 +0300488_iso-8859-1 Dear CBW,

> Artificial scarcity
> I see artificial scarcity as an unnecessary suffering.
In one sense, ultimately, all suffering is unnecessary since,
eventually, its basis (vulnerability due to ignorance, lack
and restriction) will be eradicated. By corollary, as long as
suffering exists, it means that it is all necessary. It is for us
to remove the necessity by doing the job of eradicating its
causes and, in the process, the need for it. [...]42_20Jul200116:14:24+0300devor@pob.huji.ac.il 1060 14 70_Re: Alien Smuggling/renewed interest in the importance of Project Mind12_BOLIVAR PAEZ16_bopaez@yahoo.com29_Sun, 22 Jul 2001 17:45:01 EDT372_- Are some souls born to suffer?

Dear Mochin subscribers, PM associates and friends,

This evening and tomorrow until dark is the saddest and heaviest day
in the Jewish calendar during which it is customary to fast, read from
the Book of Lamentations and not wear leather footwear. It is the day
upon which, in ancient times, the two temples were destroyed and upon
which, also, many other catastrophes befell the Jewish people. It is
considered a cosmically sinister day of heavy energies during which it
is best to lie low and let dangerous influences pass by. [...]42_29Jul200105:48:12+0300devor@pob.huji.ac.il 1558 142 14_Tonight's talk16_devor@huji.ac.il20_devor@pob.huji.ac.il31_Mon, 30 Jul 2001 13:00:07 +0300524_Windows-1252 B'S"D

Dear Mochin subscribers, PM associates and friends,

Last Monday's talk on “TZIMTZUM & the 9th of AV"or “ENDING RESTRICTION & DEATH” went well with a mixed crowd mostly drawn, for change, from flyers in the Old City. Usually, it is from the notice in the Jerusalem Post's Friday edition's "Capital Calendar." Unfortunately, the microphone was on the same surface as the tape and developed a loud hum so the tape from last week, one of the best so far, is unusable.
